Remix - Comrades

Over the course of two days, I worked on this song. It’s a remix of Comrades from the Fire Emblem 8 soundtrack. I didn’t compose any of this, I just took a midi file and revoiced/rearranged/remixed into what you hear now. It was fun. The song has a lot of parts and I took what was in it and added/doubled up some areas with different voices.

I had to use Acid and Reason together. Reason’s drum samples are horrible in my opinion. Acid’s midi drums didn’t sound too shabby. Working across both programs is something I’ve always had problems with in the past. I think I got it down now.

I have some ideas for future projects. I might attempt to remix another song from scratch.
