Music - Masashi Hamauzu
Masashi Hamauzu Masashi Hamauzu is a composer who works with Square Enix’s games. He’s also an excellent pianist. I’ve been listening to him a lot lately. Here’s a few of his works I particularly like.

Daft Punk Scores TR2N Soundtrack →
As the title says, the OST for Tron 2 will be produced by none other than Daft Punk. This, my friends, is going to be nothing short of epic.

Music: sgt. 「live o-nest」
I’m mainly posting this for myself, so I can came back and watch this whole thing all in one place. sgt. is one of my favorite bands. Their Special EP is amazing. I love live show videos. A band that can actually perform really well live always gets extra points in my books. If I like the show more than the CD, then I will probably like the band, especially if they have a really good CD....

Music: COLTEMONIKHA - Communication
communiCation - COLTEMÖNIKHA COLTEMONIKHA - Communication I heard this song on blip.fm and I’ve now found myself listening to it at least once or twice a day on top of it being stuck in my head all weekend. At first, I found it really annoying. I found capsule annoying. I found Perfume annoying. Now I love all three of them. Honestly, Perfume gives me a headache. I think capsule...

Re: Intrinsic Inconsistency
It is a part of our intrinsic makeup. If people ever did achieve a level of absolute consistency, the need to improve oneself would not exist. The futile journey towards perfection that mankind is on shall never end. Regardless of what a person believes, it is what drives us all forward. We work hard to obtain something completely intangible by natural means. It’s an obvious truth. Most people...

Intrinsic Inconsistency
Why is it that us humans never do what we say we are going to do, and always do what we say we’ll never do?

Summers Travels Are Almost Over
Got back in town today from Florida and Alabama. I’ll be heading to Baton Rouge Thursday though. I originally left for Germany on July 16th. I’ll be back from the capital somewhere around August 10th. I’ve been travelling around for almost a whole month. The new semester starts two weeks after I return. All liberal arts and sciences. Not too thrilled about not having any major...

All's [the same] in Love and War.
Love and war are synonymous with each other. Correct? When an individual engages in one of the two for the sole purpose of avoiding the other — is that not contradictory?

Batman: The Dark Knight Rant
[Spoiler Warning!] So…first and foremost - I liked this movie. It was as good as I expected it to be. My main beef with this movie is the plot. It just seemed too linear and constricted. The movie is a sequel. If one had not seen Batman Begins, he or she would probably be lost. From the opening sequence to the ending, the movie just seemed to go one direction. The plot revolved around...

The Hotel!
This is the hotel I’ll be staying at when we travel to Germany to film the documentary. I knew our destination was located in Southern Germany, near the border. I completely forgot about the alps! Our local ABC news affliate let’s my college host their videos on the student section of their website. I’ve been told we’ll be doing video updates so that people at home can...

Music - Mondialito
Mondialito - l’azur Mondialito is an indie band from Japan, and they sing their songs in French. It’s absolutely beautiful music. Very calm and serene. I will be searching for their albums. L’azur is actually one of their older songs. It was released on an album in 2004. It’s still very pretty. Great composition. The production quality is astounding. Acoustic...

Inhabitat.com I’ve seen this website a few times in different places. Frankly, I’m impressed. I love websites and blogs that are about style and such. I never thought to look for a site about habitat style. “Inhabitat.com is a weblog devoted to the future of design, tracking the innovations in technology, practices and materials that are pushing architecture and home design...
